2011 – Present President, Adapt Electronics, Beaverton, Oregon. Managing and overseeing the growth of Adapt to flourish as a manufacturer’s representative in these highly competitive, yet rewarding times. Developing and executing the business plan to grow and serve well, both Principals and Customers.

1998 – 2011 Sales Engineer, Regional Sales Manager, Technical Marketing Inc., Beaverton, Oregon. Managed the Oregon sales office, growing direct OEM sales from less than one million to over five million. Growth includes selling into commercial, military, and industrial markets with major segments in truck, military and commercial surveillance, RV and computer peripherals. Support for customers and principals include national and international travel in order to properly develop mutually rewarding partnerships. Longevity in the marketplace has enabled deep and lasting relationships and a good knowledge of the customer base served.

1996 – 1998 Sales Engineer Venture Electronics, Portland, Oregon. Operated Venture Electronics, an established, professional sales force for electronic components in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. Developed new and existing engineering relationships and increased sales in southern Oregon and selected accounts in the Portland area for 15 major electronic component manufacturers. Extensive work with 24 regional and national distributor organizations including follow up, training and joint calls.

1992 – 1996 Regional Sales Manager Philips Key Modules, Beaverton, Oregon. Operated and managed the Northwest sales office for Philips Key Modules, a division of N.V. Philips, marketing core technologies from consumer electronics to OEM’s. Increased and developed customer base totaling over two million in optical, electro optical, electro mechanical and audio/video components and systems.

1985 – 1992 Sales Engineer Airpax Corporation N.A. Philips, Beaverton Oregon and Santa Clara California. Developing product knowledge and technical selling skills in California was followed with a promotion to open a direct sales office in the Pacific Northwest marketing protection devices, motors, sensors, and instruments. Sales growth of 300% over three years was accomplished including hiring and training a regional distributor. Multiple new product design wins and territory sales achievement recognition.
